About the product
RÄUCHERGOLD Spruce is a spruce wood material. Spruce and fir are different woods; this range refers to Spruce in the current JRS programme. The manufacturer specifies an intense smoke profile and three particle-size types: FS 14, S 8-15 and Type 9. JRS states that its RÄUCHERGOLD range uses natural, untreated wood without chemical additives, with bark and dust removed and controlled moisture content. Select the material and particle size according to the smoke generator’s requirements.

Application
JRS recommends this material for pork. Choose professional food-smoking material and a particle size approved by the generator manufacturer. Spruce ranges differ from those of the other wood species shown; a coarse 2-16 type is not listed.
