About the product

RÄUCHERGOLD Friction Logs are processed wooden logs for friction smoking, rather than loose sawdust or chips. JRS specifies selected German beech and other woods such as spruce and oak. The logs are gently dried and planed; the manufacturer highlights wood that is virtually free of knots and sourced from PEFC-certified sustainable forestry. The brochure describes the RÄUCHERGOLD Engineering System: bark and dust removal, optimised moisture content and standardised production. It lists HACCP, DIN EN ISO 9001, HALAL and KOSHER for the programme, and PEFC for wood sourcing. Claimed process benefits include less tar formation and less downtime for cleaning; results depend on the generator and operating conditions.
