About the model
HPI 450 has 108 or 167 needles in a single-head configuration, or 216 or 334 with two heads. The second head is a process-specific option, not standard equipment. Product advance is 41 or 82 mm per stroke, and the stroke rate is adjustable from 15 to 55 per minute. The manufacturer also lists the option of a mechanical meat tenderising head behind the injection head.

Application
For industrial brining of bone-in and boneless products. Pneumatic support of individual needles and brine-flow interruption upon contact with bone are adapted to this application. The choice of one or two heads depends on the product and required process.
